Water Works Road Resurfacing

The roadwork project aimed to improve sections of the road that had deteriorated. It focused on repairing potholes, enhancing concrete drainage systems, and applying a new layer of asphalt. Potholes often form due to moisture infiltration and heavy traffic, posing risks to safety and ride quality. To prevent water accumulation, improvements were made to the concrete drainage, ensuring proper runoff and reducing potential damage to the pavement in the future. A fresh layer of asphalt was then applied to restore the road’s integrity and smoothness, providing a durable surface for continued use. These combined efforts are crucial for maintaining road safety and extending the lifespan of the pavement.
